These are the most comfortable pajamas, you can mix and match the pieces, between long sleeve, long leg, short leg, short legs, and the cuffs. Use the ribbon cutting chart below to help you design your own pajamas version. Color blocking is a great way to use up the leftovers and creat some great looking combinations, as shown on the short sleeve top and boxer shorts. Try making these basics in cotton, flannel, or knits.

All pajama cuffs and waistbands are 6" wide. Cut neck ribbing 2/2" wide. In general, the ribbing length is three-quarters the length of the opening. Note: These figures may need to be adjusted if you are working with heavy fabrics. Here are some general directions for installing ribbing: With right sides together, sew the short sides of the cuffs, forming circles. Fold the cuffs in half with wrong sides together. Make quarter markers on the cuffs and garment openings.


Match the cuff seams to the inside garment seams and sew in place, stretching and matching quarter markers.
